 Hi Renata,

yesterday I phoned the UK Embassy in Italy. I was said they cannot take any charge against scammers but they gave me contact details that may help our case.

Here below website of the local police in the Blackpool aerea. There is a chance they accept online charges.

Unfortunately, I have just checked the site and the email page is currently down for maintanance. Anyway, we also have to gather other people to make worthy for them to start an investigation.

Looking forward to hearing from you soon.

Best regards,

Francesca Puppo

  1. We were contacted by BRITANIA MARKETTING introducing them as agents for the U.K and we sent us first informations concerning our Company which is a small family concern in FRANCE.

Before going ahead we just wanted to get some more informations about them when falling on this blog

Please tell me what exactly happens with these people

  2. Hi,
Thanks for your comment and please refer to my blog to see the answer as I have post for all the ones like you need more info and want to know what will follow if you do business with them.
I hope to have helped you to make a wise decision on avoid any relation with this company because I did not know anybody until now that have told me that their experience has been good. I know people that have even been in Uk in their officer and have been scammed the same way. Think twice before doing business with such a risk. They promise to open Uk and Ireland market and ask you for that promise a “refundable” deposit of 768 pounds (it might have changed but this was in my time) for security of their clients that will pay you in advance for your products, but nobody ever tell, and we do not think about that too, on our own security. Why do have to pay for a client that will pay me in advance for a product that I do not have any order yet? and why do you have to send any free samples? If they work with 7% commission of the sales they do, why do we have to help them. They are not doing anything for free. Propose to them that you sign the contract but you do not pay any “refundable” deposit and that the samples they will have to pay + the shipping for them. IF they agree with that, you do not lose anything. Anything else in which is a risk for your company and you agree, be warned that they will never refund your money and will never pay for your products as well.

Please check my blog again, I might explain better there.
thanks and I hope I have saved you from been scammed,
    kind regards,
    Renata Baldissara-Kunnela

  3. Dear Renata,

Thanks a lot for having advised us concerning these people.
Seven years ago in France we were the victims of some “rats”
who were using exactly the same way of doing .

Happily this time we did an enquiry and found out your blog.

    Thanks again.

  4. Hi Renata

We read your post late last year on the alibaba site in regards to the EU marketing, but it was too late we had already paid the $600 pounds or $1500 Australian, plus sent at our expense product samples. They found us through a trade show listing, and basically told all the lies most of you have already heard from the them. Can you believe they actually gave another Australian company our contact details as a reference, even though i had already challenged there business practices. I informed the owner of the scam and i also informed the company who runs the trade shows over here in Australia. We would be happy to help in any way to bring these criminals to justice, $1500 dollars plus samples is a large amount when 1st starting a business. Please feel free to contact us.

  5. Yes they are are scammers, I have been doing some digging and Mr. Halls doesn’t even exist and they are in the process of the changing their Company name yet again, however their world will soon come crumbling down!!

    KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!!

  6. Sometimes we get lucky !

Imagine that this sunday I was feelling strange about this Brittania Mkt business and for the 2º time did my search, thank God there is Google !
They made a contact similar to the ones I have read, this time didn’t ask for any money in advance, but they call me and even arranged an metting with a friend of mine that lives in the Uk !
I hope that she can bring some apdate to this matter, and really on me to help get this people to court

  7. How to get them

  8. OOOh no! I am so sorry I didn’t find this website before because I have just been scammed as well by this Mr J Brambles /Brittania Marketing. Only 2 weeks ago I sent them the deposit of 500 Euro and free samples. But there must be something we can do??

  9. As I have also been scammed by Britannia Marketing for a total of 1500Euro, I have now contacted the local Police Department (for economical fraud) in Denmark, however it doesn’t seem like there is much to do. If anyone have had any kind of feedback from the English police or other authority regarding Britannia Marketing please contact me, as I would like them to know about my case as well and hopefully put an end to Mr. J Brambles and his scam-company.

  10. Oh my god, I gave them 600€ (after negotiations) last year…
All you explained happened to me!
    What can we do?

  11. dear fellow readers,

As said above, i too wish this information was on the web before!
I sent them money too, being promised a lot…although i was sceptical at first, ”Mr. Brambles”‘ won my trust by calling me every day for three weeks and agreeing i’d only pay the half of the “deposit”. I feel stupid for doing this..but like everyone else, was eager for the possible opportunity they promised!
If there is anything we can do , i’d be happy to help!
